Tiramisu Pudding

Before I discovered Creme Brulee,
my favorite dessert when eating out
was Tiramisu.
I could do without the soaked cookies,
but the filling was SO good.
I got to thinking, if it was just the filling I liked, why not try to make a dessert with just the filling.
Basically, pudding.
I searched for pudding recipes, but nothing really stood out, and most still included lady fingers.
I took bits from each one, and this is what I came up with.
I really like it, and you can make it kid friendly by leaving out the Bailey’s.
{I don’t plan on sharing mine}
I hope you enjoy!
Tiramisu Pudding:
1 cup of Mascarpone {softened}
1/2 cup of vanilla pudding {cold recipe}
1/2 cup of cool whip {thawed}
2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream
1 cup of chocolate pudding {cold recipe}
1/2 – 1 tsp cocoa powder
in the bowl of a mixer combine the cool whip
vanilla pudding, mascarpone, and Baileys
blend until smooth
evenly divide the chocolate pudding into 4 dishes
top with the mascarpone mixture
add a dash of cocoa powder,
and chill until ready to be served
{should be chilled at least 30 minutes}
You gotta love pudding for adults:)
I’ve only had tiramisu once–ONCE!!–but I could easily see myself putting down these pudding parfaits multiple times 🙂

That looks really good. I love anything and everything about tiramisu. Yum

…this would be great for dinner parties..wow factor! Plus I bet you could do them ahead of time and put them in the fridge.
My boyfriend hates the soggy lady fingers in tiramisu so this sounds perfect! Pinning 🙂
Just wondering, do you make the pudding as directed and then fold in the ingredients, or do you just add the dry pudding to the whipped cream?
