I absolutely LOVE the month of November.  Here in California, the weather begins to cool, the air smells crisp, Thanksgiving is a favorite for the kids, and the holiday season is right around the corner.  We tend to do a lot of entertaining between November and January, between the kids birthdays and holiday parties,  and cool nights call for warm drinks on the deck.

So after the kids have worn themselves out, and the sugar coma  from non-stop dessert eating sets in, the adults will meet on the deck to sit by the fire and enjoy a sweet treat of our own.

The Kahlua Peanut Butter Cup:

1 1/2 ounces Kahlúa Hazelnut Liqueur

6 ounces  hot chocolate {preferable made with milk}

​whipped cream and crushed peanut butter cups for garnish

It’s a cocktail and dessert all  in one, and it is AMAZING.
