The easiest {healthy} homemade chocolates

Share

It’s HOT today.

Really HOT.

Like 106 degrees HOT.

Have I mentioned that I DO NOT LIKE HOT!!!

San Diego has got to be one of my favorite cities.
Sunny and 75.
Pretty much every day.
Pretty much perfect for me.

I, however, live in Folsom, NOT San Diego, and today it is not sunny and 75.
I will not be baking or cooking today.

Let me repeat, I WILL NOT BE BAKING OR COOKING TODAY.

That does not mean I don’t have a little something for you.
I’ve been meaning to try this recipe for a while, and today seemed to be the day.
No baking required (that’s where the easy comes into play),
and you only need 3 or 4 (if you choose to add vanilla) ingredients.

Easy, healthy, homemade chocolates:

1/2 cup of melted coconut oil (this is the “healthy” part)
1/4 cup of cocoa powder (good quality)
2 – 4 tbsp of agave or honey (depending on how sweet you like you chocolate)
1 tsp vanilla (optional but I think vanilla adds great flavor)

combine the cocoa with the melted oil, gently stir in the agave, and the vanilla

pour into ice cube mold (silicone molds works the best)
mine just happen to be  Mickey ears:)
chill
pop

Enjoy!
