Sparkling Apple Cider Float {with salted caramel ice cream}

I woke up today to a gorgeous crisp fall breeze. Enjoyed my coffee on the deck wearing a sweater. Opened the windows to let the fresh air in…it was heavenly. I had a few errands to run, but then we were set to explore the Folsom Peddlers Fair, your one stop shop for all things vintage. I was even hoping to get some fall baking done. Hello apple season.
We had not walked more that a few blocks, and much to my surprise, it was getting pretty warm. But I was not going to pass up all the fun photo props that were surely lining the streets. Let me tell you,this peddlers fair is a photo prop dream come true…if you like vintage, and I DO!! SO much to see, but on the walk home we were really starting to feel the heat. YUCK.
So much for the fall baking. It’s really hard to get in the baking spirit when you are sweaty. Still, I found a way to get my apple fix, and it could not be easier.
First, add a few scoops of salted caramel ice cream to your glass {or jar in my case, I was REALLY hot}
Pour the sparkling cider over the ice cream
Add another scoop {just cause}
Straw
and Enjoy!
Tastes just like a caramel apple only easier to eat and refreshing at the same time.
Now that looks awesome. And refreshing, but still super fallish. Double thumbs up!
