I am a coffee lover

I come from a LONG line of coffee lovers

I even married a coffee lover

and while I do enjoy a nice iced coffee in the summer, I LOVE the seasonal fall and winter coffee flavors

butter toffee and pumpkin spice are two of my favorites

I’ve been pinning a lot of  diy lattes, and today I finally decided to do something with all of those pins
I even learned a  new trick for frothing milk without an espresso machine

Pumpkin Spice {at  home} Latte:

I use my Keurig – but most coffee brands have some sort of pumpkin spice coffee flavor
if not add a dash of pumpkin pie spice to your coffee grounds before brewing

I have an espresso machine – but the frothing wand is a BIG pain in the butt! to froth without a  machine –
pour milk into a glass jar
microwave on high for 1 minute
carefully {the jar will be HOT} remove the jar and place the lid on tightly
you now have frothy milk to go with your pumpkin spice coffee

top with pumpkin spice whipped cream {totally worth the extra few calories}

blend together 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree with about 1 tbsp of honey
make sure to blend well so that it is smooth
whip about 3/4 cup of heavy cream
fold in the pumpkin puree

coffee + frothy milk + pumpkin whipped cream = YUMMY diy pumpkin latte
