mini {Nutella} dutch babies

Share

I stumbled upon a recipe for mini dutch babies awhile ago.
I can’t really remember where, but it was probably Pinterest.

They were so cute filled with fruit compote.

I’ve made dutch babies before, but never little individual ones.

Since I happen to love the chocolate/fruit combo, I decided to try nutella dutch babies, and fill them with fresh fruit.  Not that I don’t love compote, but fresh fruit is WAY easier.

For the Dutch Babies:
Blend together (I did use my blender) 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of nutella, 6 eggs, 1/2 tsp salt, and 2 tsp of vanilla.

When this is smooth, blend in 1/4 cup of melted butter

Pour into well buttered muffin tins, and bake at 400F for about 15 minutes

Let cool – the middles will sink

Remove from the pan and fill with fresh fruit.

These were so good.

We had a few extra, and I didn’t think that leftover  would be very good.
I’m not one to waste.

SO…

we filled the extras with ice cream, topped like a sundae

DESSERT pancakes:)

Enjoy!
