Honey-Lavender Lemonade

I LOVE Sundays in the summer.

We spent a lovely morning at our local Farmer’s Market.
Headed to the nursery, the hardware store, Trader Joe’s.
Built a fairy house/garden, and hung up misters on the deck.

Whew – I’m tired and HOT.

Lucky for me I bought lavender honey at the market, and I know just what to do with it.

Honey-Lavender Lemonade.

If you cannot find lavender honey, it’s pretty simple to make.
Simmer 1 cup of honey with 1/4 cup of lavender flowers for 1 hour.

See…pretty easy.

For the lemonade:
1 cup of fresh lemon juice (for us it took 8 lemons)
1 cup of lavender honey
4 cups of water (you can add more to your liking)

We added the honey to the lemon juice, and then gradually added the water (testing as we went)
I do not like watery lemonade

I’m enjoying mine under my new misters.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday.
