Homemade Hot Fudge {two ways}

This past weekend was ALL about the ice cream. It has been extremely hot here, and nothing beats the heat better than ice cream. To make things interesting, we had a fun family sundae building competition.

On Saturday I got busy making all of the sauces that we would be using.

Everyone’s favorite….

I happen to prefer caramel or butterscotch, but homemade hot fudge really is good.

It was so good that I decided to make two batches,

one plain that we would use for sundaes

and one mint

{you can see what I did with that one soon}

Sometimes you just have to have a ย hot fudge sundae for dinner,

or in my case a hot fudge, butterscotch,caramelized banana sundae:)
