How do you celebrate holiday weekends?

My family celebrates with food of course.

Memorial Day weekend just begs for a good old fashioned BBQ, and that means burgers and dogs on the deck.

{who I lovingly refer to as the fussy one}

does not eat much, but she does LOVE Kings Hawaiian rolls with lettuce and tomato.  She pretty much takes this to school everyday.

So I was THRILLED to find Kings Hawaiian rolls for hot dogs and hamburgers. These pretty much are the BEST rolls ever, and I could not wait to dig in.

Along with the typical BBQ spread. I made buffalo style chicken burgers.

Oh My Goodness…AMAZING

The spicy sauce, with the sweet roll, and the salty blue cheese… well hands down this was the best burger of the night.

Stella ate a bun with lettuce and tomato…nothing surprising there:)

I happen to think that anything cooked over fire and  eaten outdoors just tastes better.  When family is involved,you have a perfect night in my book.

Sun and fun makes even the simplest of foods look beautiful!
