CopyCat Whole Foods Tropical Green Smoothie
Have you ever had a Whole Food’s tropical green smoothie?
It is a little bit of heaven in a plastic cup.
The juice bar is my first stop on any given shopping trip, and strolling through the aisles, smoothie in hand, is like a mini-vacation, that is if the kids are not with me.
Sometimes, I even find myself making “extra” trips just to get my smoothie, and if you know Whole Foods, that can get PRICEY.
I figured if I ever want to take a real vacation, and say…pay my bills, I best figure out how to enjoy my tropical green at home.
It’s easier than I thought, and I don’t even have one of those fancy Blendtec of Vitamix blenders.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of coconut water
- 1 1/2 cups frozen banana, mango, and pineapple chunks
- 1 cup of kale
Instructions
- place ingredients {in the order above} into the blender jar
- blend util you have the desired consistency
- {in my blender I alternated between ice crush and puree}
It’s easy being green.
Enjoy!
What an incredible smoothie. Green smoothies are seriously my favorite!
I wasn’t a fan until the whole food tropical green, and now I am hooked
What a purdy smoothie. I love adding the greens into my smoothie without even tasting it!
this was the first of many, and I’m loving it
Hahaha when I saw that on your instagram I was wondering what it tastes like. Now I have an idea! Looks so pretty ><
pretty delicious 🙂
Thank you for sharing. This sounds amazing. I can’t wait to try it. Pinned. #SITSBlogging
thanks, it is my latest obsession – you should see all the kale in my fridge 🙂
Hehehe, a mini vacation unless the kids are with you. That’s funny, I feel the same way! Ahh. This sounds so tasty, I didn’t realize there was fruit in it I just thought people were nuts walking around drinking “spinach”. This actually does sound pretty good.
you’ll be surprised by how “fruity” it is. SO good
Oo I’ve never tried one from Whole Foods – I usually just get coffee haha 🙂 Made my own tropical green smoothie recently with spinach (kale gets stuck in my blender), yours looks delicious!! Happy Monday!
you definitely should try the one at whole foods, and then of course make your own 🙂
