cookies and cream frozen yogurt dots
the warm weather is here, and these cookies and cream frozen yogurt dots make one easy and delicious snack
our family meals are pretty scheduled during the week
breakfast at 7, of course the kids have lunch at school, a small after-school snack at 4, and dinner is always at 6:30
weekends and vacations are completely different
I think it’s one of the things I like most about school breaks, I really do not enjoy being tied to a schedule
now that the kids are older, on non-school nights if we don’t eat dinner until 8 or 8:30, it’s OK
there are no meltdowns, the kids don’t need to be in bed by 8 anymore, they may need a snack, but when everyone is out having fun, no one minds one bit
warm weather snacking = ice cream
now, I like ice cream as much as the next girl, and this toasted marshmallow ice cream is one of my faves, but snacking on ice cream every day, while fun, is probably not the healthiest choice around
but I could, and probably will, snack on these cookies and cream frozen yogurt dots all summer long
made with only two ingredients – chocolate sandwich cookies and 0% Greek yogurt, they take almost no time to make
process the cookies into crumbs, stir in the yogurt, and pipe dots onto parchment paper; the only hard part is waiting for them to freeze
Ingredients
- 4 - 6 chocolate sandwich cookies (you need 1/2 cup of crumbs)
- 1/2 cup 0% Greek yogurt
Instructions
- process cookies into crumbs
- stir in the Greek yogurt
- scoop yogurt into a zip top bag, and snip off one corner
- pipe dots onto a parchment lined baking sheet
- freeze
- dots can be kept in a zip top bag in the freezer
my kids usually don’t like fro yo unless it covered in gummy worms and reese’s cups
but these cookies and cream yogurt dots
disappeared
enjoy!

I don’t normally talk about ME, but please make note of the slight name change from Wild Goose Tea. New web design too—whoopee and am adding new features along the way.
