Three years ago my husband decided to leave his job, and start his own business. It was SCARY beyond belief, but it’s something he has always wanted to do, so of course I supported his decision. To make things a little easier for everyone, we moved out of our large  home, and found the most adorable 3 bedroom, 1913 cottage not far from Ian’s shop. Ian’s business is now BOOMING {maybe a little too booming, he’s never home} and it’s time to start making some changes to the house. While we loved the house the minute we moved in, the previous owners had modernized it, and I was really wanting to bring back some of the “vintage” charm. We just re-finished  the wood stairs, and now I have  my sites set on the kitchen.

It doesn’t need much, but I’d love to lighten it up by painting the cabinets {they are currently cherry}. My dream would also include a farmhouse sink {fitting considering the little farm I seem to be raising} My LG French Door fridge is one of my favorite things in my kitchen, but I’d love to replace the black we have now, with stainless.

  I am dying over the door in door feature {we don’t have that now} and it’s cabinet depth, meaning it will NOT stick out into your room. For me that is a big deal, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and the new house has a MUCH smaller kitchen that I am used to.

 The full kitchen suite has been designed with seamless integration in mind, you know the appliances are there, and they are beautiful, but they just seem to blend right in. {unlike our large round table, that always seems to be in the way}

I don’t see Ian letting me decorate with a lot of floral, but I plan on painting all of our red kitchen stools and chairs, bright cheerful colors. I’ve already removed our cherry wood blinds, and that alone had brightened the room big time {but boy I’d love these cafe curtains}.

Whatever your style, the LG Studio line, with it’s sleek design and clean lines, will compliment it. LG Studio’s signature style includes premium stainless steel which I know will add so much lightness compared with our black appliances, distinctive door handles and knobs, {my cabinet knobs will need an upgrade too}.

LCD touch screen control panels – the kids are going to love these I’m sure, as well as radiant interior LED lighting – all helping to achieve a refined, sophisticated look. LG Studio appliances are among the handful of elements in any kitchen that are of the utmost importance, and Nate Berkus understands this. That’s why he recommends LG Studio as a key ingredient in designing a signature kitchen that reflects homeowners taste as well as lifestyle through the years. LG Studio announced its partnership with renowned decorator and product designer Nate Berkus for its high-end LG Studio kitchen line earlier this year.
