Do you enjoy grocery shopping?

I do if I get to go alone. It”s almost like a mini vacation.

I always try and have a detailed list with me, but sometimes I LOVE strolling down the aisles just looking. You never know what you might find.  Most of the time, I can fight the urge, and I leave with only what was on the list. Last week, I must have been a little too hungry, because when I spotted the NEW Pillsbury Blueberry Biscuits, they simply flew into my cart.

I had no idea what I was going to use them for,but I knew I had to have them. Sure, they’d be delicious baked and eaten with butter, but what fun is there in that.

As I was browsing the countless Pillsbury recipes {something else you should NOT d while you are hungry} , I noticed that SO many use cream cheese and crescent rolls.  Why not use cream cheese and biscuits..

Blueberry Cheesecake Danish

  • 1 tube or Pillsbury Grands Homestyle Blueberry Biscuits
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt {plain}
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

  • cream together the cream cheese, yogurt, vanilla, and sugar
  • press each biscuit into a lined muffin tin - making a deep indent in the center
  • place 1 tbsp of cream cheese filling in each biscuit center
  • bake @350 for 15 - 18 minutes
  • while they are baking make the glaze by mixing the milk into the sugar
  • cool danish slightly and then glaze

Yeah, so this does not really tie that well into  my “skinny” Wednesday post from yesterday…but like I said, everything in moderation right 🙂  maybe I’ll walk extra fast to school pick up today.
