NO butter - Greek Yogurt Biscoff Brownies


I’m not typically someone that craves chocolate, or sweets of any kind for that matter. I am a salty over sweet snacker. Chips, cheese and crackers, olives, nuts,  these are the things that I crave. Believe me, I can eat my weight in cheese and bread.

Lately, I have been dying for something chocolate and fudgy, and if you read the blog on a regular basis, you know my go-to

I was at a party over the weekend, and the dessert table was overflowing.  I couldn’t wait to dig into a brownie. PURE disappointment, the brownie was hard and crumbly…the worst kind in my opinion. My brownie craving was now in full force, leaving me with only one choice.




Just to be a bit different, I added a little Biscoff.

and it seems that baking with Greek yogurt has become my newest obsession. These brownies contain NO butter at all, and you won’t miss it a bit.

Biscoff Brownies


Biscoff Brownies ~ NO butter ~adapted from Bake at 350


  • For the Biscoff:
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff Spread
  • 1/4cup of vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1 egg
  • For the brownies:
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp.salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour


  • Combine the Biscoff, the sugar, the yogurt, and the egg
  • Set aside
  • Combine the Yogurt, and sugar
  • add the vanilla, and egg {mix well}
  • stir in the flour, salt, and baking powder, and cocoa powder
  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan
  • drop the Biscoff on top
  • using a knife, marble the Biscoff into the brownie batter
  • bake @325 for 30 minutes
  • cool completely before cutting


I do love my butter, but I may never bake with it again.
