I have been running everyday.
If you follow me on instagram you know that my favorite part of my run
is the END!
{it sure does feel good when you’re done}
I feel like I’m running my butt off,
but nope…it’s still behind me,
and too much of it in my opinion.
But still..I run,
and I run,
and I run.
Even when I’d rather be eating doughnuts

Oh yum! They look like they could be addictive. Looks like a good thing to anticipate after a run. I bet I’ll be thinking about them at the end of my run tomorrow morning. 😉
I would love if you would share this at my link party. http://www.realcoake.com/2013/04/real-family-fun-11.html
Take care,
KC
same here…hope the kids save me some:)
These doughnuts looks wonderful! So tempting! I would love them while they are still warm..with a glass of milk 😀
they were delicious warm!
Ha, I’d run…and then come home and eat these. Love them Heather!
that’s precisely what I did:) {not wonder I’m still trying ti run my butt off}
I’ve never tried baked yeast doughnuts but I’ve been wanting to. I’ve done baked cake doughnuts, though. They look delicious! I’m going to have to try them.
this was a first for me too – but I love baked cake doughnuts and yeast doughnuts, so I combined them:)
Maybe I should run all the way to your house to stuff my face with 10 of these! Seriously though, they look amaze balls!
thanks!
I’d rather just skip the run, and eat these! But a little running never hurt anyone… and then running means more donuts, right?
that’s how i see it 🙂
Running is a dirty word. Doughnut is an amazing word. Can’t wait to try this recipe.
doughnuts ALMOST make running worth it:)
At least you run!! I would only run if you held these donuts in front of me! Actually, thats not a bad idea???? Wonderful Heather!
that would be motivation for sure!
1) These doughnuts look AMAZING. I’ve been wanting to make some for forever. 2) I love your comment about running your butt off! lol 🙂 I feel exactly the same. I run for my doughnuts!
thanks Sophie! some day it really WILL come off:) I just need to stay away from the doughnuts, which is not going to happen any time soon
Eating donuts is just so much more fun that running, right?! Love that they are baked!
agreed! but without the running, there’d be no doughnuts for me:(
These doughnuts look irresistible!
thank you…they really were:)
Yummy! When it’s baked, there’s enough justification to eat more than 2, right? 😀
Absolutely!!
wow!! I love seeing all the kinds of baked donuts everyone is making! I’ve pinned these to my baked donut board…
I love to feature good food on my blog… in fact today I’ve got a Mexi-Mexicana Round up going on… hope you can check it out.

This recipe looks fabulous! My boys love homemade baked donuts. Really they love anything with sugar, but they do ask for donuts a lot! There is something wonderful that happens when you bake with buttermilk that you just can’t get with a substitute! I just pinned this, it will make happy smiling faces I know 🙂 Krista @ A Handful of Everything
thanks so much! they were BIG with my kiddos

What do you think about using a bread maker to mix the ingredients.
hi Kim, I don;t have a bread machine, but i don’t see what the difference could be
I would love to make these for my kiddos for breakfast, but because of the prep time I don’t want to have to get up at 5am! Could I get them prepped the night before and store in the fridge?
you could try, although I did not, just make sure the dough comes to room temperature in the morning, or they will not rise
