baked brie with spicy blueberry sauce
thank you to the Blueberry Council for sponsoring this post
Holiday entertaining doesn’t have to be stressful, and a beautiful holiday appetizer doesn’t have to be complicated.
Baked brie for example.
Take a wheel of brie, wrap it in delicious buttery puff pasty crust, bake, and dig in.
For simple and delicious, baked brie is hard to top.
But with a little change, like adding spicy blueberry sauce, you have made a big difference in flavor and made the season just a tiny bit brighter.
Blueberries are available year-round, in the frozen and fresh produce sections, and I always have a few bags of frozen blueberries at home; they’re great for so much more than just smoothies and muffins.
Not only is this baked brie with spicy blueberry sauce a gorgeous addition to your holiday table, your guests will think you spent all day in the kitchen.

I stumbled upon this recipe last week and gave it a go last Saturday night for company. We have company again tomorrow night and I chose to make this again for the appetizer. The only change I made was I piled the spicy blueberries on top of the brie itself prior to enclosing the top crust. It was a BIG hit last week and I’m confident it will be tomorrow night. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe.
thank you so much!I have made it that way too, and it is always a hit.
Holy moly! This looks amazing! I had blueberry sauce for the first time 2 years ago and it was so flavorful! Super tasty on ice cream, too!
