Baked Brie with Berries

Happy Bastille Day!

Do you celebrate?

While I’m not the least bit French, I do enjoy a good holiday.

It’s a beautiful day here in Northern California, and the perfect opportunity to dine au frais.

When I think French picninc, I always include bread, cheese, fruit, and of course a good bottle of wine.

To save on the packing I combined the bread, cheese, and berries, and baked one incredible picnic must have.

Unfortunately,  I  have to share.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend whatever your plans.

Baked Brie with Berries:
8  oz of brie sliced
1 package of crescent rolls (I did want puff pastry – but Trader Joe’s did not have any)
2 cups of berries (we used a mixed variety)
a few tbsp of sugar – depending on how sweet the berries are
juice of 1/2 lemon

combine the berries with a bit of sugar and lemon juice
roll out the crescents
top with your sliced cheese

top with berries
fold in the sides
bake @375 for 12 – 15 minutes

slice and Enjoy!
