this single serving apple crisp is the perfect fall dessert
ready in under two minutes, and no sharing needed
sometimes, you just need dessert
and sometimes those times when you need desert, you may not actually have time to make dessert
usually, I’ll make dessert on Sunday, when I have more time to spend in the kitchen
Sundays, fall, and apple crisp just go together
but lately, our weekends have been booked SOLID
so we have not had dessert in a LONG time
and today, I really needed to have something sweet
I could have popped a handful of chocolate chips, my typical after lunch sweet treat when needed
the apples sitting in my fruit bowl inspired me to try something a bit different

more apple goodness
I don’t have a microwave, could I pop these in in the oven? I really want to make the apple crisp, it looks amazing 😀
sure, you’d bake it the way you normally would, just not as long for a single serving
do I use instant oats or normal oats?
Thanks!
i always use old fashioned rolled oats
Ooh, this is perfect! I have the worst time with crisps because I’ll just stand over them and pick the topping off. This will totally stop me from eating my weight in topping!
I do the same thing – even with this one, I ate the topping with a few apple slices and the rest was left for the dogs 🙂
I am with you. I always want dessert, but just don’t have that extra hour or two in the kitchen on the week nights. This apple crips looks delicious and made with in minutes. Can’t beat it. Pinned. PS love you pictures. They are gorgeous!

I should never never never read this post. I immediately printed the recipe. I didn’t pin it, so it was kind of out of sight out of mind unless I was deliberately looking for it. I love this dessert. This is too easy. I always have the ingredients
on hand. Oh no I am in trouble! Ha.
I’ll take that as a major compliment 🙂 thanks
