The baking continues, and this recipe for 30 minute hawaiian sweet rolls may be the best one yet.

Way back when, to a time before I had kids, I had no idea that no matter how hard  you tried, your kids could still be fussy eaters. I always thought it was the parents giving in that made fussy eaters. Of course we are  all excellent parents before the kids arrive.

My kids were both great eaters as babies, and I was so proud. Fruits, veggies, oatmeal, yogurt. They ate everything with gusto.

And then they grew up, and got opinions, and found they love to share those at the dinner table on the regular. While I don’t make second meals for the complainers, I do like to make meals that everyone enjoys. Most nights that is easier said than done.

Homemade mac and cheese is always a winner.  Sometimes they don’t even mind when I load it with roasted veggies. Sometimes. Stella loves taco night when I make these slow cooker refried beans and with our new pizza oven, pizza night has been better than ever.

We’ve also started making sheet pan sandwich melts almost every week. These are a hit with everyone, and that makes this mom really happy. I’m  pretty sure it’s the rolls they enjoy the most. How can you not fall in love with soft, hawaiian sweet  rolls. They make everything taste amazing, and while the sore bought ones are delicious, homemade hawaiian rolls are even better.

Best part, these hawaiian sweet rolls can be ready in 30 minutes. Start to finish. Seriously, I kid you not. Don’t be afraid of the yeast, these rolls are are fool proof.

I took my recipe for hawaiian bread and my recipe for 30 minute dinner rolls, combined them and got these soft, sweet, amazing hawaiin rolls perfect for making sandwich melts. Of course they are equally as good eaten with butter straight from the oven.
