S’Mores Week

Best Idea Ever!

I don’t think I ever realized how many ways there are to get your s’more on.

Pancakes, coffee cake, ice cream, it’s all so good.

Have you seen the s’more butter-cream from Lisa at Wine and Glue….now that needs to happen in my kitchen ASAP.

The  s’more cookies I shared on Monday were good, but I think I like this shake  even better. I may have mentioned a few hundred times how hot it gets here in the summer, and that I’m not a big fan of the heat. Some days, food seems like too much work, but ice cream, that is something that is always manageable.

I made toasted marshmallow ice cream earlier this summer, and it was GOOD. So good that  every time the freezer got opened, I may have stuck  in a spoon or two. I may have even made up excuses to open up the freezer.

For s’more week, I knew I wanted to try something with ice cream, frankly because its just too hot to bake most days.

This shake is about as easy as it gets. You need:

vanilla ice cream

milk

marshmallows

hot fudge

graham crackers or graham crackers crumbs

I like to roast the marshmallows in the oven under the broiler {this just takes a minute or two} and then blend them with the milk and ice cream.

You want to drizzle the hot fudge down the sides of the glass, and coat the rim of the glass as well, then dip the glass into the graham cracker crumbs before pouring in the shake

You could even top them with whipped cream, fudge, and a few more graham cracker crumbs for an over the top s’more shake. I should have done that #whydidntIthinkofthatsooner

If your house is like my house, you probably have everything you need already at home, and you could be enjoying this shake …NOW.
