slow cooker pumpkin chocolate fudge cake

so I told you how I have been addicted to using my slow cooker lately

Seriously, I use it at least three or four times a week.

but, I have never used it for a dessert.

I am SO late to that party it’s not even funny. Slow cooker cakes are ALL over the interweb.

What I was waiting for, I couldn’t tell you. I’ve got dozens of them pinned.

I’m not much of a cake girl. I cannot decorate to save my life. Layered cakes forget about it, my layers NEVER come out of the pans in one piece. Frosting is not something I enjoy making or eating,  but a moist fudgy cake, topped with ice cream, well now that is an entirely different story.  And seeing as how it is October, I went ahead and added pumpkin and a bit of spice. Pumpkin and chocolate make a delicious combination, and if you don’t trust me check out these brownies, or these , or these.

The beauty of this cake {at least for me}  is that it doesn’t need to look pretty; take a big ‘ol scoop right out of the slow cooker, top with a big  scoop of ice cream, and pour on the sauce.
