Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
Brownie, Blondie whatever you call them
Reese’s makes a great bar.
I am so excited to be heading to SLC later this week for the Build Your Blog Conference. My kids however do not share that same enthusiasm.
SHOCKER It seems that things do not run as smoothly when I’m gone. On my last trip I was informed that they ate frozen burritos and hot pockets for dinner. I nearly died.
At least he gave them lunch money; who knows what he would have packed. I didn’t even ask about breakfast.
This time I made sure to stock the pantry with plenty of easy to prepare meals, and I even made lunch box treats.
I know you are probably thinking they look more blonde than brunette, but the chocolate is there; I promise.
If it makes you fell better, call them blondies I won’t be offended. They taste great no matter what the name.
Ingredients
- 14 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups {10.5 ounces} roughly chopped
- 8 Tbsp butter {cut in tbsp size pieces}
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup of chopped Reese's minis
Instructions
- pre-heat the oven to 350
- line a square baking pan with foil
- over medium low heat melt the butter with the peanut butter cups
- whisk together the eggs and sugar, whisking until the eggs double in volume {about 4 minutes in a stand mixer}
- whisk in the melted chocolate
- stir in the vanilla, salt, and flour
- fold in the crushed Reese's minis
- pour into the prepared pan
- bake for about 25 minutes
- cool in pan
- make sure the brownies are completely cool before cutting
Enjoy!
