I was all set to share a delicious, healthy, and oh so easy chicken tortilla soup with you today.

It really is a great one.

And then as I was loitering around the internet  {when I should have been doing my laundry}  I spotted these cream puffs at bon appetit

Oh baby. I had to make them. Doughnuts and I have this love  hate relationship going on. I sure do love to eat them, but I hate that is takes a weeks worth of barre3 to make up for it.

I tried to forget about them, but it was useless.

These  little gems are too easy.  You use store bought doughnut holes and canned pumpkin {or homemade pumpkin puree if you have it}.

I decided to make than a little different than bon appetit, and used Philadelphia Cinnamon Snack Delights. When mixed with the pumpkin it is just  like eating  pumpkin cheesecake.

  • store bought donut holes {I used a box of Entenmann's Popems}
  • 1 - 8 ounce container of Philadelphia Snack Delights in Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree


  • fold the pumpkin puree into the cream cheese
  • spoon into a pastry bag fitted with a small round tip
  • fit the tip into a donut {making a small hole} and fill with pumpkin cream
  • repeat with remaining donuts

How can you go wrong with donuts and pumpkin cheesecake? Now if I can just keep myself from eating the whole dang box.
