Perfectly Poached Egg

Last month I shared this with Ruthie, but I LOVE it so much I am sharing it with you all today; ย  aren’t you lucky ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I am sharing with you one of my all time favorites, Poached Eggs, and even better than that, I have a fool proof method for making them. Are you ready…it’s the microwave.

 

you need a microwave safe tea cup and saucer

then you need to add 1/2 cup of water to the teacup

carefully crack the egg, and gently slide it into the cup

{you may not be able to tell my my girls lay the most gorgeous blue/green eggs}

cover the cup with the saucer and microwave on high 45 – 60 seconds

{I like a runny yoke so I go 45}

remove the egg using a slotted spoon, and ENJOY!
