{easy} Strawberry Pull-Apart Bread

For some crazy reason
I thought that I was going to have a pretty easy week.
Volleyball ended last week
{with a 5 hour tournament}
and I was expecting a few days where we could come straight home from school.
NOT
track season started already
{from one sport directly to the next, such is life}
extra practice
track meet
unexpected eye doctor appointment
and now my week is PACKED.
Not only do I need to multitask,
but I need my food to as well.
You know…
a food that does double duty as a meal and also a snack
cause mom doesn’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen this week.
I also don’t have a lot of time to get to the store,
so I need to shop at home.
With biscuits,
a little cinnamon and sugar,
and a few strawberries,
we have a delicious breakfast, and a snack that the kids LOVE.
{thank goodness because I am running LOW on lunch box ideas, and we still have 7 weeks to go}
Ingredients
- 1 tube of Pillsbury Biscuits
- 8 - 10 strawberries sliced
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg {optional}
Instructions
- line a bread pan with parchment {or grease well}
- combine the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg [if using}
- split each biscuit in half
- press each biscuit half in the cinnamon sugar
- layer with strawberries in between each biscuit
- {begin and end with a biscuit}
- bake @350 for 20 - 25 minutes
I don’t know about you, but I love shopping in my kitchen:)
Enjoy!
more multitasking ideas:
I love that this is an easy version! I have a few pull apart bread recipes that I want to try, but haven’t found the time to make the dough. Great idea to use biscuit dough. And I love this strawberry version. Would be delicious with some Nutella!! 🙂
I’m going to have to try it with nutella – why didn’t i think of that before…
This bread looks great! And I have planned on getting a pedicure for the past 3 weeks- every day except sundays and I still haven’t! There is never enough time and I am sure with kids it is even crazier!!!
tell me about it:) I cannot even remember the last time i had a pedi
Wow this bread loks really amazing!
thank you so much
OMG you used biscuits? Holy cow Heather. I’m SO MAKING THIS.
SO easy Dorothy!
What a fun bread and love that it comes together fast!
I wish I could give you my lunch box treats…I have snacks and food coming out of the woodwork over here 🙂
that would be SO helpful Averie!
This looks sooo good!! Pinned 😉 Thanks for the awesome recipe!

This bread looks fabulous. I am a new follower. Every time I come to your blog I love the recipes! I just pinned these 🙂
This recipe is great! I have wanted to make pull apart bread but it seemed to be a laborious process but using biscuits cuts down the process in half.
I have done it both ways, and while making bread is something I enjoy…this is SO much easier:)
Great idea to use biscuits! That makes pull apart bread so much easier!
it sure does! maybe too easy for a breadaholic like me:)
Stopping by from Lil Luna! I’ve never heard of Strawberry Bread before and am looking forward to making it for my family. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Yummy! I’m going to have to try this! But I may add some cream cheese… 🙂
that would be amazing!
This bread looks so pretty, it is hard to believe it can be so easy and uses canned biscuits! Perfect for breakfast (who has time in the mornings for baking bread from scratch?) and for when someone drops in for coffee. Also, this looks like something kids would have fun putting together with their favorite toast spreads!
absolutely – I think we’re going to try nutella next
For some reason the biscuits didn’t cook very well. Do I just need to bake longer?
yes, all oven temps run a bit different, and I do think mine runs a bit high…I would suggest keeping them in the oven a bit longer
Love this recipe. I wonder if it would work with the low fat wheat biscuits. I have to try it. Thanks for sharing on Thursdays Treasures.
This is so gorgeous, Heather!! I would love to come home to this after a busy day 🙂
thanks so much Stephanie!

I am making this now. It smells delicious and was super easy to put together. But, it is taking much longer than 25 minutes to cook. 🙁 I have it in a pyrex loaf pan lined with foil… could that change the cooking time by that much?
pyrex could definitely change the time. Also, ovens run differently, and the berries you use as well, any difference in moisture would affect hos it is cooking. make sure to keep checking the center for doneness
Followed the recipe to a tee and my bread took an hour to bake. I also put a sugar glaze over it all. That aside it tastes delicious thanks!
